What is the Two-Tier Floating Shelf?
This shelf is shaped like a sideways "C" or "U", giving you an upper and lower platform joined by a backplate. It is made from 16 gauge stainless steel, so it is easy to clean and rigid.
What is the weight capacity?
Capacity depends on depth chosen, but for reference a 6" deep shelf will carry 1.25 lbs per foot. For example, a 24" long shelf will hold 30lbs on the top shelf and 30lbs on the bottom shelf. This assumes the weight is distributed somewhat evenly along the shelf.
