Most floating shelves come in one or two finishes. You take what's offered or you go somewhere else.
We do it differently. Every shelf we make starts as true stainless steel — not coated mild steel made to look like it. That's why our colored finishes hold up the way they do, and why they look the way they do.
Here's what we offer right now.
The finishes
Brushed stainless steel. Real stainless with a clean, brushed grain. Goes with just about any room.
Champagne gold. A warm, soft gold with the brushed grain showing through.
Graphite (black stainless). A deep, dark finish with that same grain coming through.
Black and white. A satin finish in either color when you want something solid and simple.
We add new finishes pretty regularly and can even provide custom colors, so this list grows over time.

What makes our gold and graphite different
Most companies that offer a gold or graphite finish bury the metal under it. The brush strokes don't come through. What you end up with looks like paint sitting on top of the steel — flat, and not all that nice up close.
Ours don't do that.
We use a proprietary coating that puts the color over the stainless without hiding it. The brushed grain still shows through. So a champagne gold shelf still looks like brushed metal — just gold. Same with the graphite.
It's hard to appreciate until you see it in person. You get the color you want, and it still reads like real stainless steel underneath.

It holds up
The finish isn't just for looks.
It bonds to the steel and takes daily use — wiping down, bumps, moisture. It resists chipping and fading. And it works indoors or outdoors, so it'll stand up to sun and weather if that's what you need. Same goes for damp rooms like kitchens and baths.
See it before you buy
Color is hard to judge on a screen. Gold and graphite especially — they read differently depending on your lighting.
So we send free samples. If you're deciding between finishes, order one and look at it in your own space first.
You can see the finishes on any of our floating shelves. And if there's a color you want that you don't see here, reach out — we add new finishes regularly and might be able to help.
