We get asked this a lot.
Someone finds one of our floating shelves, sees the quality of the metalwork, and sends us an email: "Can you make something like this, but for my specific situation?"
The short answer is almost always yes.
Everything We Make Is Custom
We don't stock parts. We don't pull products off a shelf and ship them out. Every piece we build is fabricated to order — cut, bent, welded and finished in our Tulsa shop to whatever dimensions and specs your project requires.
That applies to our floating shelves, but it also applies to other stainless steel projects. If you need a custom wine rack, mag board, bookshelf, shoe rack, wall art, speaker mount — or even a fancy water bowl for your dog — and you care about how it looks when it's done, we'd love to hear about it.
We Specialize in Cosmetic Stainless Steel Work
This is where we're different from a typical sheet metal shop.
Most fab shops are set up for industrial or structural work. They're building ductwork, machine guards, enclosures — parts where a few scratches don't matter. And they're good at that. But when you hand them a piece of stainless steel that needs to look clean and finished in someone's home or commercial space, the process breaks down.

We've seen it happen. People come to us after getting work back from other shops that arrived scratched, dented or with the brushed grain chewed up from tooling marks. It's not that those shops are bad at what they do — they're just not set up for cosmetic applications.

Our entire process is built around protecting the finish. Every tool, every fixture, every step from cutting through packaging is designed to preserve that clean brushed stainless look. That's a hard thing to get right and it took us years to dial in.
Finishes Beyond Standard Stainless
We work primarily in stainless steel, but we also offer finishes you won't find at a general fab shop.
Our champagne gold is a proprietary coating that gives the stainless a warm, subtle gold tone — popular in kitchens and bathrooms where people want something other than silver. Our graphite finish is a coating that lets the brushed grain show through while adding a darker, muted tone to the steel.
These coatings are durable, and they give you options that go well beyond the typical brushed or polished stainless you'd get elsewhere.

We Know How to Ship It
Something to consider if you've ever ordered custom metalwork online: packaging matters as much as fabrication.
A perfectly finished piece of stainless can get destroyed in transit if it's not wrapped and crated properly. We've developed our packaging process specifically for cosmetic stainless — every piece is wrapped and protected to arrive in the same condition it left our shop. It's one of those details that's easy to overlook until you're the one unwrapping a scratched panel.
What We Bring to the Table
We have over 100 years of combined fabrication experience across our team. That includes bending, welding, cutting, and finishing — the full range of stainless steel fabrication capabilities.
We also have engineers on staff who can review your design, suggest improvements, and help you figure out the best way to build and mount what you're envisioning. If you've got a rough idea but aren't sure about the details, that's fine. We work through that with people regularly.
A few other things worth noting:
- We've developed proprietary floating shelf mounting systems that we can adapt to other projects. If your project needs a clean, concealed mount, we probably have a solution.
- We try to be competitive on pricing — custom doesn't have to mean expensive.
- We back everything with hands-on customer service from the people who actually build your piece. No call centers, no runaround.
